ABOUT THE COMPREHENSIVE PEDESTRIAN PLAN
The City of Clinton has received a grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation's Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning Branch to develop a Comprehensive Pedestrian Plan. Working closely with the community and the technical assistance of a consultant, the City planning department will be preparing a plan that includes involvement from the community, raises awareness of pedestrian safety issues, and helps create a more connected City. The plan development process will be completed no later than January of 2012.
We look forward to seeing you at a future meeting and out walkin’ in Clinton!
